Raw Vegan Chili

Enjoy a quick and easy raw vegan chili recipe heated with jalapenos or your favorite hot chili. Spicy foods are the perfect way to warm up on a cold day although I like it anytime.

Fun Food Fact:
"Cayenne is used in cooking spicy dishes, as a powder or in its whole form (such as in Sichuan cuisine) or in a thin, vinegar-based sauce. It is generally rated at 30,000 to 50,000 Scoville Units. It is also used as a herbal supplement, and was mentioned by Nicholas Culpeper in his 17th century book Complete Herbal.[1]"

Spicy Chili

  • 2 ripe Roma tomatoes
  • 1/4-1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic or more to taste
  • 3 tablespoon raisins, dates or Stevia to sweeten
  • 1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
  • 2 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon of cilantro
  • A 1/2 inch of Cayenne pepper or a pinch of cayenne power
  • Sea salt to taste
I like to blend until smooth. Next add chopped: carrots, celery, red pepper, cilantro, onion, corn and walnuts or bloomed wild rice.
