Tropical Mango Lime Salsa

Tropical mango lime salsa is a refreshing addition on top of your favorite raw Mexican dish. The sweet and sour of the pineapple and sweetness in the mangoes is perfect to offset to the spiciness of the hot peppers.

Mangoes are a sweet delicious addition to a variety of wonderful dishes from many cultures around the world. It is a tradition in Mexico to enjoy a fresh ripe mango peeled, topped with lime juice and sea salt. I recently found out that mangoes are the most eaten fresh fruit all around the world. The Mango tree plays a sacred role in India; it is a symbol of love and some believe that the Mango tree can grant wishes.

There are a variety of different types of mangoes. Feel free to explore them by adding a different variety of mango to your Tropical Salsa and other raw food dishes. Eat up and enjoy mangoes and be happy after all they are are full of tryptophan, the precursor of the "happiness-hormone" serotonin.
